I am pretty new a taxidermy I did about 42 deer last year and hope to double that this year,What would you recomend between the dakota iv or v, also what do you think of the quebec fleshing machine?

I would get the Dakota Pro model if you can afford it. It's a great machine.

I couldn't be happier with my Dakota pro. I've had it less than a month, but its amazing. I think the one of the greatest things about it, that really sold me, is the quick cleanup and blade removal. I can removed the side cover, completely remove the blade (just by taking off one bolt) and clean everything. Changing the blade on my old machine used to involve a good bit of work and time. I can't believe I can just take my blade off, and on, in 10 seconds with this machine!
Not to mention the micro adjustable guards. Go with the pro!

The pro is by far the best but if it is between the IV and V I would go with the V. I have both.

If you intend to do more than the 42 you did last year the pro is the one you want.

TIME is money, and the time you will save doing a quick, efficient fleshing job with a quick cleanup, is time you can spend on other things! That's the way I look at it!

thanks for everyones input I think I will go with the pro, Im excited I am opening a taxidermy shop next to a deer check in station .
