Most expensive thing about quality is ignoring it.

« on: August 17, 2008, 08:49:56 PM »

I just had my first student. An outstanding two days, couldn't of asked for anything better, except for a little more time. We started at 7 AM on the second day and the next thing I new it was 5:00 PM.  I think we only took maybe 20 minute lunch both days and hardly sat down. 10 hour first day and a 10 hour second day.  I had planned to Mount a deer and go through every detail and then our plan was to go though the whole finishing process. Worked great!!  I also had a hide ready to drop in the tan and one ready to flesh and a green hide that needed turning, so we also went through that process. I wanted zubba to see everything. I figured it would make it easier to understand how I get the results I do.

I want to publicly thank Zubba it was a lot of fun. Maybe next time we will have some time to ride around the county and see some big bucks.

I am going to post some pics of the deer, one on the left is the one we mounted and the one on the right is the one we finished..   Thanks Again!!!

I want to take this time to thank the last student for a great experience. I provided trapperjeff with lots of years of knowledge packed up in 2 1/2 days, very long days I might add.

I also wanted to take this time to let  everyone know I will not  be offering training through the 2008-2009 deer season.  If interested in training contact me and we could come up with a time for late winter or spring.  Thanks for your time. Have a good day.
