A registration form is now on our web sight, gstaonline.org  go to events and you can download a form. Remember enter 4 mounts, the 5Th is free. Also we have a donated African hunt by Leon Small of Thaba Mahaka Safaris, South Africa. This is for 2 hunters, 10 days, PH, meals, lodging, one Warthog, one Impala or Blesbuck included each for both hunters, www.thaba-mahaka.co.za This will be one of our many auctions this year. Our competitor's cup this year is an Eider. We have 28 categories for awards and I am still working on more. There is just under a month left to get mounts started or finished (that includes me also) so lets make this our best year and attend. Paul Bacskoczky

Just went to see the new Hotel this weekend for the July show, and all I can say is wow. Just remodeled with luxury suites, double hot tubs, flat screen TV rooms. The show room is huge, we will need at least 200 pieces to make the room look like its in use. If not ,there is a dance floor on it, hell all the wives can dance for us, and Dave can do his "slap that" dance. The pool has an 8 foot deep end, so the pool party participants better be able to swim. There are honeymoon suites available, canopy beds with double Jacuzzis, that sounds like you Gregg and Julia. If anyone has not recieved our news letter with all the show info, let me know and I'll get one to you, Paul

The hotel we have this year is the best we ever had. Plenty of room for mounts, so don't be afraid to bring what you got. The pool party is shaping up to be something you don't want to miss, and couple that with some great seminars, and great judges, and this show is going to be smokin'.  Hope to see everyone there.

A big thanks to the UTA for donating a hundred bucks towards our show. Craig Lewis gave me a call and said use this money as you see fit. Thank you, and I'll make sure all members get a membership form for the UTA. Also a special thanks to Mike and Cathy Kintner for their $200.00 dollar donation. Mike and Cathy have been past board members and officers of the GSTA for years, and from myself and all GSTA members, a big thank you. Since we are a small state, getting suppliers to come to our show is nearly impossible, so we rely on donations to get monies back in our pockets. We buy 365 days a year, a couple of forms once a year is all we ask. So to all that have allready sent something and are going to, thank you. Its a big help with the high cost of financing these shows and to keep going for years to come. Paul

All joking aside, I will be doing a great seminar on mounting a full strut eastern Turkey. Start to finish, 3 hours long. Starting fri 3pm till 6pm.

I will have a real body to show how neck works, size & shape. Then I willl set up mannikin and mount the bird. Using silicone,,, yes LOve the stuff,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
This process will help with mounting of any bird......
