Question on cape

Have a cape I just pulled out of krowtann, went to fleash but stopped before I got to the head. There is a faint bad smell- very faint in certain areas low on the cape. Should i pput stop rot on and continue or put back in krowtann- its been in there 4 days already. Please advise. thanks

Did you pull it out every day and check for pink spots and turn it in a new position?
If you didn do that then you may have bad spots.
