i finally did it .. i  turned my first ears .. it was a raccoon .. it was easy .. i was just making it seem hard ... the bobcat video i got from talflinger helped alot on turning the ears .....

I use a butter knife on small animals and use to use a spoon on large ones till I got my ear turners.

    I just use my thumbs , but whatever works for you is great!
It's SO nice working on a specimen without holes all through the ears LOL
