McKenzie offers Ex Small/ Small/ Med/ Large  sizes of panting jaw sets. I have a 200 lb Black bear that I want to use these jaw sets on. Does anyone have any suggestions as to size to use? I was thinking Medium but then again, not sure if small would be better. eye to nose is  4 1/2 ". Also, Would it be better to use close mouth and modify rather than modify an open mouth which would be open too wide?

On issues like this one, I've found it wise to call them and ask to speak to Tech Services.  I then ask Mike or Phil or whoever answers to go out and find the size I need for a specific form I'm ordering.  Many times the Customer Service lady will have those numbers available anyway.  Still, for that type money, I insure that I'm getting one that will fit.
