I am looking for a lifesize form for a Kinkajou. I checked out most of the larger supply houses but it appears none exists. Does anybody know if such a form is available? Or, has anyone used a particular form and modified it for a Kinkajou. Thanks  Craig

You are not going to find any. Carve a head and wrap the body. We have done a half dozen like this and would I actually prefer this to any commercial form any ways. How to you think Wildlife Artist (WA) gets his cats to look so Awesome!!

It is really not as hard as it sounds.

Good luck, Mike

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

They are neat animals.  The one I did, years ago, I wrapped the body.  I molded and cast the skull in plaster, then built up the details in clay.  It went together beautifully.  To this day, when anyone asks me, "What is the most unusual animal you ever mounted?"...  my answer is "A Kinkajou!"  Then I have to explain to them just what a Kinkajou is!

While there are no known mannikins for this animal, perhaps having some references will help?  So, here goes:

Good luck!
