Good Morning from New Hampshire!

Week # 11 is upon us. Thanks to everyone who has participated. We look forward to seeing a LOT of pictures!  I want to thank Greg Stehling & Son's Fish Taxidermy Wholesale Fish Specialists for starting and being so generous to give us all a great learing tool to inspire!

Each week Pictures can be posted of recent work or work your proud of to show and share with your pears!

So here goes!

First 2 pictures are of a winter steelhead completed by Mr. Travis Perterson of Ketchikan Alaska who just complete a 2 week workshop with me . The reprodcution fish was provided by Mr. Dave Campbell of Tacoma WA.

I know this is on another post but I thought it should go on here to .This is the third walleye I have done.

Once again amazing work. Rick thanks for taking over. I’m a hardcore fish mount junkie and need my fix every Friday.
 
 This guy I completed this week. Probably one of my favorite mounts I’ve done in along time.  It’s a  27” Golden Carp Cyprinus carpio (auratus), not to be confused with a koi.  I was introduced to this species by a friend of mine who has one mounted.  He sent me pictures and I flipped!  I was on this whole carp kick , and decide making one for myself .  It’s a Pedestal mount, and I’m working on some sort of base right now.  I positioned the eyes looking down and forward because the carp will be swimming on a slight angle going after a worm, hook, and weight setup.

Those are all SICK! scary, insane, ridiculous!!! DaNG! I don't know if this thread is inspiring or depressing- you guys flat-out SHRED at this. Rick, you better be careful- some of your students are RIGHT ON YOUR HEELS! he he. DougP: so clean and perfect- my skin mounts look like they have high voltage running through them- sclaes lifted all over the place. And that KOI! (kidding)- beautiful- just what we expect from you, Mayhem15! Brilliant, everyone- thanks for making my day!! Keep up the great work.      Dave

Here is a picture of the second bluegill I have mounted.  Also included a picture of the fish befor it was frozen. 

Their looks like their is way to much white on the belly because the flash reflected off of the Wet Look Gloss.

Mayham!!! Your fish rock!  Slick awesome walleyes!!!!!!! Michelle way to go on the BG I wish my first ( well even my 50th ) fish looked as good as yours! I owe you a phone call... My great friend and mentor in higher thoughts Capt B always tremendous work!!! MK Your work is inspiring to all I really love to see the Big fish!

Big Gun you made me laugh! It is allabout my student passing by what I work with on so that they will set the pace for tomorrow! Good Man! Frank give us some eye candy and thank you my friend for the kind words for Travis! Trapper you call me any time!

I put a paint schedule on the Training section showing Travis steelhead essay if you want to add a paint shedual to your library.

I'll be back a bit alter to see more cool work!

All these fish are AWESOME!!  the large mouth,smallie and the two steelies really tripped my trigger though. That repro crappie is very nice too. All of it is, again, very very good. WOW!

Awesome work by all here ,this photo is of a what we call down here a Snapper they grow to about 40lbs,very good eating and great on a line,this fish in the pic was stolen from a display I had at a boat show ,1 week later it was found 50miles away in a guys fish pond  exactly it is in the pic,,the guy I mounted it for was sooooooooooooooo glad to get it back!!!!!
