I want to take this time to thank the last student for a great experience. I provided trapperjeff with lots of years of knowledge packed up in 2 1/2 days, very long days I might add.  

I also wanted to take this time to let  everyone know I will not  be offering training through the 2008-2009 deer season.  If interested in training contact me and we could come up with a time for late winter or spring.  Thanks for your time. Have a good day.

I want to thank Todd Smith for a great 2 1/2 day's of whitetail training! I have mounted quite a few whitetails over the years but could never get away from that "mounted" look. Todd was able to get me to the "live" look of the deer. For example, the ear butts now look correct, the eyes don't look painted. When you walk past the deer, it's eye's follow you! and the overall appearance just looks alive!! Todd is a great instructor with an incredible amount of knowledge for the whitetail deer. Starting with the tanning all the way to final grooming. I was basically self taught, went through years of trial and error. I can tell you it was the best money I have spent to date. I took a ton of notes and pictures which has helped me keep all of the instruction fresh. Anyone looking for training will not be dissapointed with Todd's instruction. Whats 2 day training course? or any ideas

I offered a 1 day or how many ever someone wanted, didn't matter to me.  It was for anyone that already knew how to do taxidermy but wanted to advance. 

I am not currently offering classes. My mother was in the hospital for 3 months this summer and I am really far behind in the business.  I am far enough behind that I will not be taking any deer this fall and I normally take in 150 or so. 

One good thing come from my time off, I studied Illinois Real Estate and passed my exam so now I am licensed to sell Real Estate.  Here is a link to my web site. I have several pieces available but only have  one listed on the website, not enough hours in the day.   Thanks for your time.
