Sorry, this is probably in wrong category, but this is where I spend most of my time. Here's my question. Where can I purchase a heavy duty styrofoam cooler or box to ship frozen stuff? I'm not talking about the thin one you can get at Lowe's that you would use for camping. I bought something from someone on here a few years back and it came in a thick cooler with a nice tight lid. It was like 1 1/2 inches thick. I used it to ship some frozen turkey heads to have them freeze dried. It was really nice. Can anyone tell me where to get one of those?  Thanks

Go down to your local hospital lab or other health lab and check with them. They have blood and medications shipped in them. My mother-in-law gets me loads of them. She works in the lab. They throw them away!! All sizes from 6" square to 2 ft X 2ft x 4ft!! And they are the thick ones!!!
Good luck!

I gave a really big one to my brother. It was a 36 inch cube with 4 inch thick walls!! He sprays bedliner..(line-X)..he sprayed the outside of that Styrofoam cooler..it now keeps beer cold and the ice good for a WEEK!! And that was at Sturgis in the August heat!!! The bedliner makes the outside very durable!! I guess I should paten them and sell them!!

go down to the lumber yard and buy a 4X8' piece of styrofoam and cut it to the size you need and get out the duct tape works great. This is how I make my meat coolers for my out west hunting trips when I'm ready to come home. Throw in a hunk of dry ice and your covered.

Wallyworld sells a square cooler for $5.50 that I have shipped dozens of green capes in. Here in my neck of the woods Wallyworld had them right next to the ice chest near an entry/exit door and back in Sporting Goods.  This year I see they even say Wallyworld on them.  Last year was red handles, this year white handles.
I can freeze two WT capes in them and mail anywhere.  Yes, Lab coolers work great along with Omaha Steak boxes but you must know someone that knows someone.  I sell dozens of capes each year and the $5+ cooler gets it done for me and it is not a cheapy.
