The Week in Fish Pictures~ Year 2# Week#52 2 year Anniversary!!!!

A really big Hello from. Well... my Honeymoon!!! Kathie and I want to say hi from the cost of Central America and the beautiful land of Belize! Staying in line with celebration's.

A happy Second year anniversary of This Week in Fish Pictures!!!! How cool that one of the most inspirational strings on the Taxidermy.Net turns 2 years old! Well Kathie told me I could spend a few minutes and check in to the world of taxidermy from the Krane Honeymoon to say Hello and to get the Anniversary week in to the great folks who make all this happen! I can only imagine the great fish work so beautiful and inspirational that year 3 will bring to us!

This past week fish work is nothing short of some of the very best I have seen here yet! Way toooooo many cool fish!!!!!! It does take so much talent and courage to share with each other however the one thing we all take seriously here is that we don't judge or slam each other or the work we share. This is what makes this string so very special to me and I hope for you as well!

It is a wonderful place where we can come and share our work and be enjoyed for the efforts we make including me!

I want to thank all of the great contributors who really show not only great talent and work but rather give such inspiration to all of us!
A great week Fishheads!!!!!

There was some really inspirational fish work last week I hope you all had a great week my friends and family of Fishheads!!! Let's start off with some Big time thanks to our great contributors this past week!!

Here's a big hats off to the contributors who shared their talents! Eddie Casas, Just Fish, Joey Arender, RP, Holmes, Todd B, Denny, KAMOHunter, Jemmick, Layne Luna, Scrubby, JTM, Al from SC, John C, Dave UFD Campbell, and last but never least Cremmick!!!!!

From beginner's to the best in the world we all join in every week in a critique free and hassle free string with nothing more then great artist and inspiring fish taxidermist and carves get together to share with one another their praise and inspiration of good will and friendship to one another.

I thought I would start off this week with a funny yet cool picture of Kathie and I having a group hug with an Atlantic Sting Ray this was cool!
Back to reality next week!

I hopefully will be checking in during the week I have a date with destiny so Cheers and here's to more great fish!

So here goes!

I hope you enjoy the week!
So with out further ado let's get week #52 under way.

So here we go and here is to a great week in fish pictures!!!! #52! Enjoy!

My Best!
Your Friend
Rick Krane

Here is Kathie and I with a great big group hug with a cool Ray!

Congrats Rick and Kathie!!!!  I couldnt be more happy for you both.  Have a good time on the honeymoon and catch a fish or two if you can!  Dont forget to take pics..... those of us who wont make it to Belize this year would love to see pics!!!!!!

Here is my contribution for the 2nd year anniversary.  This is a tiger trout that I moled, cast, and painted.  I am not real happy with the paint, but for my first tiger repro it's not horrible.  Smiley  I can always cast another way and paint it, right?  Good looking start to the week and I agree, I cant wait to see what year 3 brings us.

A great fish, a pretty lady, and beautiful beaches-who could ask for more. Hope you take lots of reference pics for us all to see-of fish please. Some reference studies of some billfish would be way to cool. Have a great time Rick. Congrats.

The ROCK on Kathy's finger....must be new...so bright and shiny!  Smiley  Congrats again!

Here is a reproduction that I molded and painted.  I just recently tried molding on 4 Koi fish...getting there.  What I like about Koi is that I can paint them a thousand ways.

This is a 14 1/2 incher.
