I have 2 questions about bird taxidermy in Wisconsin.  For a display I have a hen pheasant that I mounted sitting under a branch with some icicles.  Do I attach the Game Farm tag to the mount or keep it in my records.   Also can a I mount my own ducks for myself without a federal waterfowl permit.   Thanks for the help.   Jason

Any one can correct me if i am wrong, but with the hen pheasant, i would try to attach the tag somewhere to the mount itself so it is with the mount, i usually attach on the bottom of the base.  Also, with the ducks, the local game wardern told me i had to have a Migratory Permit even to mount my own ducks.  Hope this helps you!

Thanks for the help.  I'm going to fill out my application for the permit tonight.    Jason
