I have a 12" rattlesnake coming in in december, what would be the best way to mount him, fish filler or carve a body?
thanks in advance.

Try molding it if its gonna be mounted on its body, otherwise carve it.

Revive it back to life and let it grow to about 2.5 feet to where you have something to work with. Grin Cheesy

that one sounds like fun to work on.  you got two great suggestions already.  I would suggest a combination of carving and molding.  mold the head for reference (and to have one in case (good likelihood) you run into problems skinning out his head.

be sure to post pics when you get it done...
