Manny are you using the 732 straight? If so let me know how it goes I may have to go the same route as I cannot locate Dynamite 111 either

I was planning on using it straight, to avoid any molding issues. I believe they do this for tackyness and to build up the thickness. When i opened the lid to check out the consistantcy I noticed a lot of clear liquid on the top. So im thinking about pouring out the liquid and just using it straight. Has anyone done this ?

to me it would seem you'd want to stir the clear liquid to mix with the paste....not sure if this is just residual oil that rose to the top...but i get your idea of draining off the liquid to have a thicker paste...might be worth a shot.

Well Elkhunter1313 I was able to find the Roman 555 pretty easy. So i will be returning the 732. I ended up paying $25.for the 555 and the 732 was only $10 and some change. I guess the 555 is that much better and you can use it straight.
From what I have read you get 4 deer per gallon that only $6.25 per deer.

Harley, go to Sherwin Williams.
The 555 straight is the best I've used.
Manny, you should get WAY more than 4 deer per gallon. I've done 4 deer, a nilgai, glued down the top to my salt table (3'x6') and still have almost a half gallon.

Guys and gals, I am sorry, but the 732 is not what you want. The #555VOV is what you want. You do not want the clay based, it doesn't hold a candle to the #555 VOV. You can have all the others in my oppinion.

732 will work fine, geez dont get hung up on this and that. I have used 732 for many many years zero drumming if the cape fits the form.
if you try to stretch the cape nothing will hold it.

Good timing for this thread. Just this week I tore apart a mount I did about 4 months ago that i just didn't like. I used dynamite 111 straight out of the bucket. Cape didn't appear to be drummed anywhere but was hard as hell. The cape wasn't adhered to the mannikin one bit. The mannikin was the same color as it was right out of the box. I can say the 111 right out of the can doesn't adhere worth a chit in my opinion. I'm going to try the 555 like matt said. Steve

The 555 is by far the best I have ever used. You can open up a business account at Sherwin-Williams and get a real good discount on it.
