That's what the clay based does Steve, and I had some that drummed on me. I don't stretch anything to fit. If anything, I go alittle smaller to insure a good fit and detail. The #555 dries like buckeye supreme, somewhat flexible and great tack. It works better than anything I have used yet.

The 555 is $17.95 per gallon before tax where I live. The Sherwin-Williams outlet here stopped stocking it in the 5 gallon bucket due to less demand but it can still be special ordered

AFG is $21 a gallon. No complaints, do you guys really think the 555 is a better product, especially since it costs more?

Never used the AFG. The price will be about the same because of shipping.
