Anybody use the antler stain from McKenzie?  How did it turn out? Or is there a better method to use.  I have see some other methods here in my searches but have not read much on this.  I have a few older sets of horns that have whitened up over the years that I am going to mount but want them back close to the original color.  Any help?

I use some stuff     POTASSIUM PERMANGANATE        Research sells it.   Works really good on several staining situations.  Saw it used at a siminar here in Alabama on a set of built antlers.
