I am looking at buying Van Dykes 55 gallon tumbler for bird work--mainly turkeys.

Our old tumbler bit the dust earlier this year....I have been gasing and hand tumbling since it killed out,I like the results but I prefer to gas outside for safety reasons. Gasing outside in WI in winter never worked well for me  Wink

Any feedback on the Van Dyke tumbler or any other recommendations ?

I have the yellow Van Dykes tumbler.  SOLID...Can let a bird tumble forever without any feather damage, since I don't gas...I like that I can let a bird tumble and get lot's of other things done.

I have had one for about 5 years now and I love it.  No issues and very well built.  I have tumbled large geese with ease.
