This morning it was 5.4 degrees out with fresh snow and some sun I took this shot in my back yard. This is by far the best shot I have taken of  Starlings. I was using a Canon 20D digital with a Canon EF 400mm f/5.6 L lens and a Tamron-F 1.4X converter.

Thank You Curt, here is one from today, he was in the prine tree sunning him self. I am working on getting a photograph of every bird I can, on my land and making a book, also a bird viewing web site. I bought 20 acers of a soy bean field and had a pond dug and have been planting pine trees and desidious trees for the last 15 years.  rw
