Does anyone have an easy way of removing bushbuck horns?  The ones I have have been dried for about 1 1/2 years.  I have boiled them and cut around the horn base as far up as I could reach with a knife and they still are not budging.

Soak them in water for about three days or four days. It may take even longer if the cores are dried out. Had some that had sat around for a couple mounths but came off after three days of soaking. I did drill a hole on the back of the horn close to the top to let the water in.
