Are you wanting to make the mold of the skull for shed antlers?  Just wondering, I have a skull cap laying around somewhere. I caped a bull one time that had it's horns cut off so I saved the skull to mold and have yet to do it.

Silicone Caulk
Look at the rock molding tutorial I did in the tutorial section.
Fast and easy.

Just use white or clear paint in the silicone or you will dye the cap.

I second the silicone. I used it on a whitetail skull cap and it worked great.  I got away with out using a release on the skull cape.
