That's What I'm Talkin bout!

« on: January 09, 2009, 09:29:29 PM »

Here is a Western Diamondback I mounted for a customer on this forum and finally finished it up and got shipped out today! I hope UPS doesn't destroy it! Shocked I think I packed it pretty well with cardboard edge protectors, airbags, 2" thick Styrofoam and about 50 yards of bubble wrap! No more base mounts for me! Not only are they a bitch to ship, but habitats aren't one of my strong points! This base was made by "Show Me State" Robert West by the way. Also, a few others on here will be receiving their snakes next week, sorry I didn't get them out this week. Smiley

Nice job!

I prefer to ship the snake separate than the base.  2 packages.

Thanks for all the complements guys and gals! I really had hell with this mount! Not the snake, it was a breeze. The damn habitat! Angry  Jeremy didn't you see the post where I suggested designating a day or two a month to the snakes? Cheesy Wink

VERY nice, Yeager!  I have a couple of small wdb rattlers I intend to try my hand at mounting.  MaryLou is a friend, and she told me of the snake.  She is a NICE lady... Smiley...and it looks like you did her snake proud.

Thanks for sharing the mount.

Be Well,

Frank

Yeager1, you do some awesome work. I get so tired of seeing those freeze dried mounts displayed eat up by the weavels called "mounts". Ima gonna have to get you to do one of my giants this year. One in the 72" or better range.
