Have you tried tweaking your white balance setting on the camera? Most of the time the auto setting will set it waaaaayyyy to warm. Try pulling er into around say 4500K and see what it looks like.

BTW, try putting a light behind the subject and have it pointing up and lean it bit towards your back drop. Use a bulb with a lower wattage then the other bulbs you're using. This should lower the shadows cast by the subject, unless you're looking for that effect.

I'll have to try that lou....this new camera has a lot of settings that I'm not familiar with, but I do know that the white balance is one of them..I'll give it a go.
