Thanks for looking, I am mostly looking for comments on the ears and eyes. The nose and whiskers will be finished off later. Thanks again. John

Get your feet posed as quickly as possible.  IF they dry like you have them posed there, you're going to ruin a nice mount.  Also, I'd suggest getting rid of the white scleral band in the right eye.  It throws the appearance off and makes the fox look a bit cross-eyed.   Nice clean looking mount.

Nice job. Wish my first looked anything like that. I agree about the feet. Also, it looks like your nose (nostrils) is lop-sided? Sometimes things will show up better in a photo. I take photos when I think I'm "done" and always see stuff that needs tweeking.

I need to tweak the nose a little with a-sculpt. A couple more pics mounted on the customer supplied base. Fixed eye and moved foot . Does it need to move more? Thanks

There is going to be a squirrel coming out of the hole under the fox when the customer gets one.

Hey Rebel, Thanks ,it is a # GF-V4 page 361, bottom right of page in the 07'-08' McKenzie Catalog # 33. It is also the first time a have altered a form. I liked how the mounted one looked in the book and figured it would work well for my project. John

I think you guys are reading something that isn't there.  Look at the muzzle and the angle it takes from a front on picture.  It's cast to the viewer's right.  Since the ears are behind it, the optical illusion might seem that the ears have shifted to the viewer's left, but I don't think it's enough to make an issue about.

Looks good for your first!

Besides what has been mentioned, i might also add:

Watch for the lengths of the legs between the joints. The thing that jumps out at me is the length of the leg that is picked up is too long between the ankle and foot.

I have attached a pic so you can see what i am talking about....compare your 'picked up leg' to the one in the photo.  Hope this helps!
