i got this burbot home after being in the back of my truck out of water for about 2 hours. i threw it in the sink to start cleaning it, and as soon as it hit the water, it came back to life. talk about a hardy fish. i had an empty tank downstairs so i put it in there to study it a little bit. its been two days, and he's very active. he's eating herring chunks, and seems to be doing well. anyways, if anyone needs specific reference pics of a burbot, let me know, cause i have one for now LOL.

I want to work on a Burbot yet this year. I am just waiting for a nice chunky fish. all the ones I have gotten have been in the 22" range I want one a tad larger.
Plus they are too darn tasty to mold. lol

they have an air bladder they can use. they have been known to "walk" from body of water to body of water...
also if you want flash free pictures through the glass, take your picture on an angle to the glass so the flash does not reflect directly back at the camera.
sweet that ya kept him, i want an aquarium of fresh water fish.
