Hello All,
I have searched high and low and can't find the 3' Foam Insulation Board. I know it is there, Owens Corning makes the Formular and Dow makes the TUFF-R, but neither Lowes, Home Depot or Ace Hardware carry the 3' in South Texas.
Any suggestions on where to find would be greatly appreciated.
I'm really new at this and I am trying to follow Terry's tutorials to the letter. I tried it substituting the "Great Stuff" and my habitat looks like a scene from "Mission to Mars" it is definitely not of this world.

I searched and couldn't find a thread like this, so I apologize if I posted in redundancy.
Thanks Again

I appreciate that Bill,
I should have waited until the 2 part foam arrived from Van Dykes, I just wanted to try something.
But I am having a heck of a time trying to find the 3' foam board for the base.
Thank You

Have you tried gluing a 2 inch piece to a 1 inch piece.  Make sure you remove the plastic coating, and the stuff glues together just fine.  When I did this I did use the glue that was made for gluing foam.

Thanks Wayne and Terri,
I didn't think about the appliance companies. I'll give that a shot. I did try gluing a few together, and it worked ok. The 3' was just what oldTerryr used and looked perfet for base and rock carving.
Thanks a ton folks,
rich

Thanks Wayne,
I'll keep checking constructon sites. Unfortunately, I'm in South Texas, and 3' foam insulation is not used on most buildings. But we got yankee's building down here, maybe thay won't know better Smiley Just Kidding Smiley
Thanks Again,
