I have used sheetrock mud with a little paper pulp insulation mixed in and it works great for bedding material.I buy a 5 gallon pail of mud for aroung $13.00,and the paper pulp insulation is very cheap also. You can pickup these items at any hardware store or building center.Rich

Do you pull some of the mud out and and then put the insulation in it and stir it together with a sheetrock mixer? what is your recipe

There is no set recipe of paper pulp insulation to sheetrock mud, just mix in a little at a time until you get the consistency you like. Then you can use a paint brush dipped in water to smooth the surface of the mud so you get a nice clean and tight seam on your mold.Rich
