I just finished boiling, what appeared to be a 1.5 year old whitetail skull I pulled off a road kill. When I set it down on my work bench I a few of the teeth fell out(off).
Upon closer inspection, these teeth were actually growing on top of another set. Has anyone seen this before?

I shot an elk last year in New Mexico that had the teeth coming off like that? Here is a pic how old do you think it was? I thought it was 2 1/2 years old.
