to start off with i replace my drill bit in my drill with a big #6 turkey wireand i run it thought the eye socket .these holes will be for the wire were going to run.

now im going to make me a trench with my drimal, this is where my wire is going to recess in to my form

run the trench all the way to the back of the form

now put my battery pack in the back of the form and start laying my wire

about 2 inches down from where th horns sit i hold my switch up an make my hole for the swith so it will resess two ,now you can opt to put your switch any where you wont if its a yote or cat you can even put it on the base up to you.when you go to put the hide on make you a hole for the switch head,so the head sticks though the hide and pin it with small brads .

now i anchor the battery pack to the back of the form with staples ,keep in mind the ones i sale already have the electrical tape on them so you dont have to worry about that joint

i run the wire in the trench all the way upto where the where it splits off for the swith.leave you enough slack and cut the black wire only with these switches we only switch the black wire.

now the wire from the swith up to the horn pad-(black only)

now to run our wires thogh the hole we made in the eye socket

now we need to test the eyes so to make shure there working good, shake the wire to make shure of no shorts

ok make a hole in the center of the eye socket

put the LED in the center and rap it in clay (LEDS dont put out much heat at all but the little they do make is distubuted thought the clay once it gets hard)

test the lights agian to make shure the LED is in the center of the eye .

then wrap your eye with clay as you normally would
i like to put clay all around the swith  or somethime super glue on the bottom of it

now after making shure all your joints are taped up we can go back and fill them trenches up with clay

I hope yall like this ,and if you have any question please just ask Ive been saling these for 40.00 shipped if interested ,,THANKS

I think you did a good job explaining how to use the bright eyes. I was wondering if the wires that you put in the brain cavity could be moved to another part of the form or is that where you would have to put them?  Thanks for taking the time and putting this on the net for all of us.  Dan

Chad what kind of paint could or do you use to paint the bulbs to change the color of them?  Is there any cracking of the paint from the heat and do you need to seal the paint on the bulb?  Thanks, Dan

i use waterbase paint on them and haven't had any problems
but you could also use lacquer also and as for a sill i just hit it one time with a spray of polyurethane clear coat
