I stopped by the show Saturday for the afternoon. It was great to see my friends again. It always is. I liked the mounts, and my two youngest who were with me looked every mount over pretty good. They remembered almost every one that the other brought up later in conversation, I guess that means they were noteworthy! Kids seem to be able to see and remember details like birch bark backings, or a hidden cicada shell on a tree, or a stray french fry on a starling mount.  I know that between 4 good judges there were still plenty of blue ribbons. I got outta there before the "nightlife" at the bar fired up, though. Congrats to the winners and the folks who put it on.

 I just want to thank the entire UTNY board for a great 2009 show!!  We pulled off another one guys!  From set up to take down the show went very well and I believe everyone who attended enjoyed themselves.

Cathy (Marty)- Thank you for being the greatest and for doing a great job as the UTNY Treasurer and continueing to support the board all these years!
Jim H.-  Great job on the judges and seminars!!! From the buzz around the show everyone really enjoyed the seminars!  Don't forget my bird!!! LOL
Bernie- Great job with the awards!  (your birds rocked!!!!)
Cliff- What can I say???  Thanks for bringing the funniest security guard ever!!! He was fantastic!!!!

I also want to say thank you for the McKenzie Service Award I love you guys!!!!  We had a great time and a great show!! Keep up the great work I know that next years show will be great too!

This was my first UTNY convention.  It was a great show!  The seminars were very informative, the instructors threw out lots of good ideas.  Thanks to everyone who made this happen.

Hello Everyone-
The 2009 UTNY Convention and Competition was a GREAT success!  Thank you to all of the judges, vendors, sponsors and of course participants for making this such a great show.  We wanted to share some pictures of the award winners so you could see the wonderful mounts exhibited this year, but unfortunately we were unsuccessful in getting them posted (the files are too large-but I will keep trying).

We can't wait for next years show which will be in the Spring of 2010!  Hope to see you there!
