Like eating from garbage?

Try a garbage can tipped over on its side, with a garbage bag inside. Glue together some crinkled newpaper pages, magazines, trash etc, and make it look like it fell from the bag, then put the raccoon in a digging pose in the trash Grin

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Here's a mount I did back in 1977 ... we had a blizzard that year, and all that snow made for a great picture of this little fellow!

This was a pet raccoon named "Casey" ... "Lil' Ol' Casey Coon" ... as I came to call him.  He was always getting into mischief, including knocking over garbage cans right in front of his owner!  He was mounted on a half log -- a big base of choice at the Taxidermist's shop I was working at the time -- so I took this photo after removing him from his base.  We were losing daylight when this picture was taken, but it made for a nice winter backlighting!

Anyway, hope this helps!

John.

My grandson, age 8  did his first mount last year, it was a coon coming out of a garbage can.  He had a lot of fun doing this and coming up with ideas for the trash.  This was a coon we trapped, who was eating the cat food in the barn.  The cat food is kept in a trash can.
