I use the tec bond blue bottle stuff from McKenzie supply and I also use the activator to dry it instantly

super glue his fingers to the nut it don't take much
no the glue shows up. have a wire coming out each paw drill a little how on each side of the nut. or drill a little hole on each side of the nut  and put some apoxie sculpt on  the holes...... use your brain a little a get creative!!!!! Wink

I do I mix the super glue with a little dirt and the glue goes away. I mean who sees a clean nut in the woods Wink

i think you both are right but  jseiler's is fastest and he is right WHO  Di's  see a clean nut in the wood's thank you both in keep up the good work

time and practice. Squirrels have a pretty tough skin so you are not going to rip it unless you are really tugging on the skin witch I have no idea why you would do that in the first place. I am going to suggest that you purchase a video and go from their. The video will explain a lot of your questions and you will be able to see it done.

there are a lot of instrutonal videosout there. John Bellucci (LordRusty) and David Elzey have a seminar from the word show on DVD on mounting a squirrel available from WASCO. Denis Rinehart has a good squirrel video available http://www.americantaxidermyonline.com. Get your self supply catalogs from Research Manikins, Van Dyke's, McKenzie, Jonas Bros, Matuska taxidermy supply. David Elzey's DVD or VHS is available from all or most of those supply company's I just named off to you or just order it from him direct from his web site.

First with a bow

I just did one holding an acorn and just use regular super glue.  Didn't take more than a few seconds and then you can let it alone.
