Well as all good hunting stories go this deer was shot during the 2008 rifle season and was presumed dead until the unfortunate hunter walked up to it without gun in hand and the buck jumped up and ran off, all the hunter had to show for it was the right antler from the G2 forward, it seems the bullet hit the deer about 2 inches above the burr and knocked him out.  Fast forward to the 2008 muzzleloader season, low and behold this buck made it through what was presumably a very bad headache only to be harvested by a lucky hunter (sans the majority of the right antler). As luck would have it the buck was harvested by the nephew of the original hunter who shot the antler off.  This is where I came into the picture, a European mount was requested as well as a "See what you can do to repair the damaged right antler".  Several trail camera pictures of the buck were also available which assisted in the repair. Following are the results of my labor, of which the techniques used were obtained off of this site provided by several members willing to share their skills.  So here is my humble attempt to pay it forward.  Enjoy.

Thanks for the compliments, the repair was charged out at my hourly rate and actually cost more than the mount but the customer knew that ahead of time and was willing to go with it, he was very happy with the repair and believe it or not needed to be reminded which side was fixed.  I didn't get a tip for this repair, but am sure I have a customer for life and will get many recommendations from him.
