I just wanted to say THANKS to Brian Steele of Little Hocking, Ohio who spent a week here at my Big Game Head Taxidermy School.  During the week we fleshed two deer capes and tanned them and then we mounted up 3 more whitetail deer and finally did the finishing work on a whitetail deer.  It was indeed an honor to present to him my Certificate of completion in Whitetail deer mounting.  Brian was very eager to learn and I am quite sure he will be one of the Best in OHIO in the near future.  Thanks Brian for your business and I really enjoyed working with you.

If anyone else out there is contemplating on seeking Big Game Head mounting training and work in an environment conducive to learning then you need to contact Big John.  Many Thanks.

Best,

John Griffith

Here is more of Brians work.....  He was using one of the New Manikins put out by Brian Eppley or Ohio Taxidermy Supply Co.  This one was 7 1/2 X 21 but we had to alter it to accomodate the cape.  These new manikins that Brian is sculpting are simply Out of this World.  He has made major improvements in the deer manikin business.  I especially like the way he has defined the caranucal are of the eye.  It was one of the Best Manikins that I have used in a long time.  Thanks Brian and the crew up there in Ohio Taxidermy Supply Co.

This past week I had the honor of working with one of my BEST Student again.  Mr. Traven Rowe from Ashland, Ohio came down for a 3 day class in black bear mounting and mule deer mounting.  Now mind you Traven is an Outstanding Taxidermist in Ohio and has been in the business for about 4 years.  He has been down here several times and he is now at the point in his career where he really doesn't need instructions because he knows how to read references, sculpt and blend paints.   So, I am really proud to say that I have seen a person who knew nothing about 4 years ago in taxidermy and has developed in front of my eyes as an accomplished taxidermist.  His work is just GREAT to look at and he has proven that with tenacity and determination you can really learn this business and do quality work; this is what it's all about.  Thanks Traven for selecting "Big John's"  Taxidermy school as your learning center and it's been a pleasure working with you and getting to know your family.  Congratulations!

If you are sitting on the fence as to what you would like to do in taxidermy take a good look at us and I believe that you won't make a mistake in selecting us as your learning center in mounting Big Game.  If you would like to work in an environment conducive to learning on a one on one basis and work with one of the World's leading Big Game Instructor's then you need to contact John Griffith at 606-376-4380.  Here it's all strictly business because it's your money your spending so why no get the Best of Training.

Again, Thanks goes to WASCO Mr. Ken Edwards who makes all this communication possible.  Thanks Ken you are the MAN...................

Best,

John Griffith

Simply amazing is all i can say about john he never seems to let me down when i go down there to learn,no matter what the case my be with john he can show you how to figure out the problem and resolve it and trust me i have forsure put him to the test! John is a instructor that strives to make it his own goal to see his students succeed,if your looking for training where your gonna learn not only high quality training but your gonna learn how to look for problem areas how to fix problems and just overall how to deal with taxidermy headaches then take it from me john is who you are looking for.I have been down to johns several times and its not just the different mounts i learn to do ,its the knowledge you get while your mounting your animals ,theirs never a non learning moment with john,i look forward to going to johns everytime i go hes just a great guy to be around he has away of really putting the motovation back into me,.Some times you need to have someone just tell you the truth ,john knows if I'm lacking in motivation and he needs to be firm with me.Honesty is the most important thing in process of training you could spend millions learning from someone that is just simply after money ,how many of you have had a school tell you  (hey you don't need me anymore stop wasting your time coming down here ?) well john has told me that ! Hes there to do what  ONE thing and that's to make sure you know what you are doing and how to do it right after that he pushes you out of the nest and makes you fly!
AND FOR THAT REASON AND THAT REASON ALONE IM RUNNING A SUCCESSFUL TAXIDERMY STUDIO!
I'm here only to help the people going through what i did..where to learn? who's gonna teach me the best! who really cares about the quality of work i put out !and where am i gonna get the most out of the money i spent!
In my eyes its with John Griffith ,for you that think i may just be talking john up.that's not the case i speak only from what I've been through spending thousands with other schools to just come home and feel overwhelmed and left out in the dark! I would be more then happy to speak with anyone that's trying to make that choice on where to train the pros and the cons feel free to call me 419-962-4909..AND THANKS A MILLION MR GRIFFITH FOR HELPING ME TO SUCCEED!

We just completed a weeks course here with Lisa Weir from Hymera, Indiana.  Lisa has been here before but she wanted to do some advance studying and mounting of Open Mouth Whitetails.  We had a blast working together and her husband Vance also participated some.  I just wanted to say THANKS for and Outstanding session in which we mounted up two open mouth whitetails, trained on the fleshing machine, did some horn repaid and work some on a fawn that Lisa had already mounted.  Again Thanks Lisa for selecting "Griffiths Big Game Taxidermy for your learning Center".  We really do appreciate your business and hope to be working with you again.

If anyone else out there is contemplating on some Big Game Head Training and would like to work One on One in an atmosphere conducive to learning then you need to contact BIG John.  Oh, and I just want to say again THANKS to Ken Edwards who makes all this possible.   KEN you are the MANNNNNNN.......

Best,

John Griffith
