4" Long and found somewhere in the US...

I'm thinking Bird Pelvis perhaps? Or am I completely lost?

its definitely a Bird Pelvis , looks large could be a vulture. do you know where abouts it was found ?

More than likely turkey, assuming you are in the United States (You did not indicate which continent the synsacrum was found). I also looked at example Pandeon, Halieatus, Cathartes, Grus, Buteo, Anser, Cygnus, and Branta and they did not have the appropriate shape or size. Turkey was closest.
