Here's a big moose that I've been working on for the last few months. It's been a steep learning curve but I think it turned out pretty good. Comments?

Al.

Isn't it just fun trying to hoist those around and find containers BIG enough?? LOL

Looks good - pic is kinda dark, is that grease or shadow on the topside?

That's shadow, I thought the same when I first took the pic. Actually that area of the skull gave me the most grief as far as grease removal went.

I had to get a big tank made out of Aluminum to stick this moose in, the antlers and skull weigh close to 40 lbs and it's spread is 56 inches.

That is the worst place on a moose to get degreased.

Now think Al, that's not even a huge moose...lol  I've had a couple of sheds that were close to 40 lbs each Smiley

Those are big sheds! This one was hard enough to move around. Do you get many moose antlers to do?

No thank goodness, I just don't much have the strength to mess with them anymore. The two sheds that we used to have was 22 years ago, one was 42 lbs and the other was 38.

I have a small moose that I'm working on right now with a unique antler. I'll post pics when he's done Smiley
