The results won't be visible until Friday (if I've done this right) so your vote can be swayed by the trends.  I think MOST of us go for several reasons above, but you have to select the MAJOR draw the show holds for you.

Rumor has it that the WTC had a questionnaire about what the major draw was in an effort to accommodate the major interests factor more at subsequent shows.  That's a great idea that all our shows should do.

Now I know some of you have multiple accounts here and you're going to skew the system a bit, but at least this gives a rough idea of interests.  And obviously, you can enter your thoughts in your own threads, but let the fun begin.

I guess the big draw for me is the competition... Just like this coming weekend I have an NCTA board meeting at the Surry Show, but since I haven't had time to complete a comp piece I will only be attending the meeting not the show.

Almost forgot! Huh I will be hanging out at the Hampton all weekend, so I can see everybody! I guess that would go under the "Party" Factor! Grin

I picked competition because without it there would be no show, but the best part of the show is hanging with friends and meeting new ones.

Besides the ones that you have listed George, I have come to find that the networking accomplished by meeting people from all over the country, not to mention the world is one of my favorite aspects, which I guess could also fall somewhat under the partying catagory. Meeting people like that gives additional reason to attend the shows and adds to the enjoyment factor.

Anna, what part of "pick ONE" don't they teach in California?  LMAO

Perry, I heard that the one seminar you did attend you didn't get to see finish. Why was that?  ROTF

I must've missed that one. After seeing the one of him trying to get into Michael P's drawers, I figured I'd better not go any further.

Although the ribbons were nice and it was cool meeting everyone, if you don't learn something you'll be left in a cloud of dust.  However saving money on suppies is always a bonus.  LOL  Not sure how I'll vote yet.  Good questions George.  Dan
