The lil'mexican & I are seriously considering going to the Oklahoma show & hanging out with Mr. Bauman & crew....but I have 2 questions.  #1...on the application it says there is a President's challenge....is there actually one & what is it and #2....probably the most important question which will decide if we go or not.   DO YOU HAVE ANY RAFFLES! Grin

The president's challenge is small pedestal gameheads, like a pedestal bobcat, fox, coon, or similar.

Yes, you should go.  It is a great show.  You will enjoy it.  We might even put you to work.

Bout time you quit traveling to the 'exotic' states and visited your neighbor  Grin

It's a great show with some awesome seminars....and you get a great one on one critique with judges after the show.

We used to do a gun every year, but we have switched to Visa Gift cards in the last couple of years.  Typically $250 to $300 if I remember correctly.  We have an awesome auction with tons of stuff.

Miranda surprised me today when I got home with a present....she booked us a room at the Crown Plaza.   we're driving up Wednesday afternoon & coming home Saturday evening.

Oh I could see it now, I could be a blind squirrel finding a nut, actually put out a descent piece of Taxidermy & pull a second & everybody would say "the only reason he won was because Yox was a judge!"  That is EXACTLY how it would go down! LOL

I'm going to this convention the same way I go to all of them....to have fun & learn & not worry about some damn competition.

Oh Russ, I got my ribbons for that World Show piece I started today....they were 5 green ones with Benjamin on the front! LOL
