Water pik = brain blaster ?
«

I just went out and bought all I need to make a brain blaster, cost me about $15 for everything i needed. Talking with a friend of mine about designing me something and asked about using a water-pik ? they can be found for abour 20$ on ebay, had anyone ever tried using that ? with the pulsating water it might work pretty well ?

I don't think that the water pick would be strong enough. It would probably work, but would probably take a lot longer than an instant rush of powered water from the brain blaster.

Water pic might work with a chipmunk ... but I darn sure wouldn't want to be using it on anything bigger.
Actually, no .. I don't think it would work even then. The stream of water doesn't have enough pressure behind it.

I would definetly feel the "need for speed" using a waterpick.

you can make one for under $5 or so, if you have a hose spray end with threads. lowes and home depot have an adaptor to connect a compression line to pipe threads for about $3. i needed to get an adaptor to connect my hose end to my hose, both were female ends. i just bought a 2" long pvc pipe thread to match for about $2 when your looking for a hose end with threads some of them have ends that will unscrew then there will be threads. the one i bought had a big rubber end on it, i just unscrewed it.

Mine cost a little more to make since i had to buy 10ft of copper tubing and 2 adapters, lol.... I was playing with it and it works well - cant wait to try it on some brains..
i was just wondering about the water pik, i would imagine if you stir the brains up some and use the water to clean them out ? i have never used a water pik so i dont know how much forsce is behing the water...oh well - just an idea i put out there...

I had one when I had braces and there in not enough pressure to blast any thing out. Maybe help get dead beetles carcasses out of a finished skull is about it.
