I think it looks good, and it loads very quickly on my cpu. The water mark is a bit distracting to my eye, I personally prefer solid color backgrounds or a very light untiled image. That's just a personal preference, because I have ADD and it's harder for me to read text when there is allot going on in the background, LOL. I like how you have your galleries set up allot.

Thanks for the critiques and suggestions everyone. I will be revising the site later on today.
I can't see how it's hard to read with the watermark, but everyone is different, and it's best to favor the people who might have trouble seeing the text, so I'll lighten the watermark a little.
I also want to make my file sizes smaller for dial up users. Can that be done by just resizing them in Photoshop or do I have to manually compress the file size? I know very little about web graphics...so bear with me.

Nina looks good I think you should try Video clip your pictures 3second poss
and also should take your price list out
get the client to email or phone and request a price list from you a little more personal and their showing interest
in your Artistry

I disagree, I hate the video galleries. I prefer the gallery that Nina has set up. I also disagree with removing the price list. (maybe raise your prices a bit, but that's a different discussion Wink) When I'm shopping for something...for example on Craigslist...if there is no price I move on. By posting a pricelist however, you must make sure it is always updated. I'm not familiar with Elements, I have Photoshop CS2. In CS2 I can set my crop size to 100 x 100 pixels, then when I crop the orig. image it doesn't get distorted. (you can also hold the shift key when cropping and the image will maintain it's dimensions) Also, I can change my image quality from low to high, which will change the actual size of the file. I don't know about elements, but in CS2 when the save image window pops up, it shows at the bottom the size of the file, and the estimated time it would take a PC to load that file using dial up.

I agree with Cole on the video gallery, besides if on dial up all those bells and whistles take forever and a day to load.
I also prefer a price list. When I'm looking for something I HATE to have to ask the price.

I wonder if GIMP has a free gallery maker thing. I use Fireworks and you set it to the size you want for both your thumbnails and regular pic size. It also sets it where it isn't distorted.

Then my comments on Krotann are done. Alum was, is, and has always been my only concern. I understand, too well, about cut throat businesses and proprietary chemicals.

No Bobbi, it's not a free one. It works in conjunction with Dreamweaver.
