I'm loving this process. Just pulled two other skulls out of the water. All clean and ready for degreasing and whitening.
This is my uncles deer from November 2008.

Good job. It does look like there is a bit of a line on the antlers. Possibly from when they were being macerated? Do a search for antlers and latex and see if the few posts on here come up. If you coat the antlers with latex before starting the process, they will not get stained or marked up and the latex peels right off when you are done.

yea i took her advise and got some latex from hobby lobby and i wish i would have started to use it earlier. I like for the treebark and dirt to stay on there and i hate to stain the antler, most of the time you can't really notice but why risk not getting it right when you can just put a few layers of latex on there.
