Laying down deer question

Hey guys. I just want to ask a quick question to all the seasoned pros out there. How do you guys do the legs on a laying down deer? I was trying to do a fawn today (approx 2 months old) laying down and after a while I got frustrated with it and pulled it off the form to work on it another time. The fawn was ventral cut and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how the hell to get those legs sewn up and everything tucked properly. Nothing seemed to work right (maybe it was just one of those days) I had no problems until i got down around the front legs and chest area and skin was bunching and not falling into place like it usually does on a mount. I've been doing taxi for probably 10 years now but this was the first time I really had a problem with a mount that got me this frustrated. I have two more lying down fawns to do yet and I don't want to go through this again. Luckily, this was one of my own mounts so I have the liberty of being able to have a screw up this time. If anyone has pics of their method I would appreciate posting them, as I tend to be a more visual learner LoL.
Thanks in advance guys!

all laying lifesize animals require alot of slotting and relief cuts for tucking and pinning of the skin and very little sewing
