I am trying to mount a jackrabbit I get them skinned  out ok and try to turn the ears, I use my fingers to seperate the cartlige from the skin worked ok for a bit then I got to the edge and stuck my finger through the ear seperating front from the back. should I replace the cartilage with a ear liner and try a repair the edge area. What is the best way to deal with theses delicate ears? thanks for any help.
