Between artwork, taxidermy and a part-time job, I'm keeping myself busy, and trying to make everything work out.

The latest commission is actually a set of two drawings for member arrowed1 (Kevin). They will measure 16"x20" in size and they are trophy portraits.
I have both photos gridded out and ready to draw from. I started the moose drawing first. Kevin is behind the caribou in the other drawing and is going to send me some other pics of himself, so I have reference to move him over to the side so he can be seen better. This is a WIP thread so check for updates.

I also have another logo to do for a member, I will add it to this thread once I get it started.

I think it's neat the way he's looking thru the antlers - not something you see in a drawing all the time, makes it unique!

Shading the antlers...I don't know why I started them first, I think since they are the trophy's focal point I was just drawn to them. I still need to add some depth with darker graphites. I also just noticed some obvious proportional problems, something I didn't see in person...photos tend to point out flaws, but they will be an easy fix anyway.

Nina I don't know how you do it, but you give all your drawings so much "depth". Simply amazing.
