i'm all hopped up on coffee and i spent the morning at the new wing of the cleveland art museum so i'm seeing how much of a piece i can get done in a day  Smiley

It's neat to see your reference.  A few years ago a client of mine showed up with a pair of mallards and a print that he wanted me to copy.  That is, he wanted the pair mounted like the dead birds depicted in the print. Hey, I can do that, no problem...........  Well, I don't know  what the artist used for reference, but there was absolutely NO WAY to pose the birds the way the artist had painted them. One of the wings would not fit, no matter what I did with them. I don't recall who the artist was, but I always wanted to ask what he used for reference. Please keep us posted on the progress.

final touches will probably be tomorrow. the canvas is too wet to put my hand down but i still have more i can get done tonight. i havent stayed up late and gotten this much done since college, now i miss it
