I write this at the very kind encouragement of another member... I am going to try and be blunt, so please don't mistake this for attitude or rude behavior.  I am trying to keep this short so I don't ramble about generalizations... as I often tend to do, and then lose my goal of the post(s).

Some things were said that made me mad, and I take those things to heart more than I should.  So I returned by lashing out at many people.  Some of them did not deserve it at all.  Some reacted just as I was- on the defensive.  Some just misinterpreted my kind of humor/teasing (I think there is one member, exactly, who has "gotten" that part of me on a level equal to my own so I am not bringing that side of myself into these forums any more).

So it became a vicious circle.  For that I am sorry.  As you can see from my recent posts I am staying out of cr@p now.  I didn't mean to make so many people mad.

There are people here that I like.  There are people here I don't know yet.  There are people here, who let's face it- we are better off just agreeing to disagree (about 1 thing or all things).  I'll be honest about that last part- you be honest too.

What you do with this apology is up to you.  But I think my behavior from here on out will reflect on this change I am making.  If you'd like to talk about stuff, I am open for PMs.  But for now I am staying away from this thread... just call me gun shy but I don't want to participate in the discussion that it may or may not start.

Gry...folks get their knickers all twisted up in a knot over things.  This is just the internet...yes it's real, but it's not like anyone's in the living room saying things.  I think if we WERE in each others living rooms, a lot of the time folks would behave better!  Wink  We'd at least share a 6 pack or something.  Wink

Thanks for putting your right foot forward.  We all don't have to agree, but we are here because Ken has given us this forum.  The least we can do is respect him, this site & ourselves enough to keep the bad things in PM's...IF we have to say them.

It's hard sometimes though.  I lost my temper tonight.  I was put in my place.  I care about many of the people here.  The ones I don't care for, well, they can go fly a kite.  Wink  It's good to stay out of some areas.  Wink

Good job sunshine...good job.

Apology accepted,  you are entitled to your opinions as I am mine.  That makes us neither good nor bad.

and before someone feels the need to make an unkind comment, remember the old saying about glass houses and stones, none of us are perfect.

Grygon, how 'bout we toss that ball right back into your court. This will go whatever way YOU take it, trust me. Ive been around. Whether its the forums here, or life "out there" its the same thing. One exception though...here at taxinet, almost anyone can "fit in" or feel very accepted. Its you that will find your comfort spot and friends. These people who at first seem like a mob, are also a very forgiving group too. As a moderator here, I see things, and I recall your earliest reported post, and the post it was about. I also have watched other things develop from both "camps". I can say that once a few of those people learn your manner, things will be just fine. I also believe that once you learn some of the others, you too will be one of the group. If you choose to be.

Us artists can be an odd lot, no doubt. But, with these good people, a touch of moderating, and self moderating, and what all YOU as an individual brings to the equation, its bound to add up positive.

Well Grygon, I don't know what went on elsewhere, but I would like to think that you would find this place very welcoming and fun, as I have. The only word of caution I would advise, however, is this; there are some things about oneself that one should keep private and personal. I have always used this username on other forums and elsewhere, and although I have never done anything that I am ashamed of, there are things I have done that others simply wouldn't understand and may dislike. That's life. So I don't hide stuff, but there are things I don't go out of my way to display to other people.
I keep everything straight and level here because that's how I feel that this place runs, but though I'm not hiding anything about myself, I'm not about to thrust my opinions, or anything else people may not like or understand, upon them - at least not without an awful lot of diplomacy! Grin
So yeah, best foot forward and all that, and it's always nice to see that people can accept that they may need to change or apologise. Hope you hang around here.

Well grygon I also do not know what happened in the other thread. But I do applode you for standing up and apologizing It takes a big person to admit when they are wrong.
I think it is easy to type what you think and hit enter and walk away. Some things that you write you would never say in person. So sometimes you do need to really think about it before you hit that enter button. It is also very easy to get caught up in the moment and type things that you regret the next day.
Just always stay positive about things. This might be a forum and you think you will never meet some of these people but, if you ever do do you want them to have a bad feeling about you right off the bat? There are some great people on this site and a lot of people that if you ever needed anything would help you out in a hurry.
Don't run from this site. Asking for forgiveness is an awesome thing!

Grygon, you are making it sound like WE started the problems here. Normally I would either stay out of it or accept your apology but not this time.
Everything was fine, yes you had a few tiffs with some of the members on here, but when you brought that to another forum on a different site YOU made it a personal thing. We reacted to it.
Yes we argue here BUT we don't take it to another forum, or make it personal. There are lines that shouldn't be crossed, and you crossed them.

I'm sorry but YOU brought this on yourself. You wanted the attention, and you got it, you just didn't like the kind of attention you got.

why does everyone have to be so damn sensative, frankly i really could give [edit] if everyone said my art work sucked and I was worthless. I'll probably never see any of you guys and even if I did I wouldn't know who you were. And everyone is intitaled to think what they want, so someone thinks I'm a smuck well thats fine they are all intitaled to there opinion. so why not just leave it and move on. at least she was man enough to apologize.... Take my opinion for what its worth.

Greener, you must of missed what happened before. What Grygon pulled was uncalled for and EXTREMELY childish.
I'm with you, I could care less what anyone thinks of me, but she needs to grow up.

Well you do have one thing right, I don't know what was said or anything like that. but I do know that i have a few screws loos in my head, to deal with dead sh^t all day there has to be afew screws loose. Were no imbreads, but I am kinda a dirt lip. But I sure don't give a rats ass if she thinks that of me. If I were to go around caring what people said about me I would become a hermit and never leave the house. So its no sweet of my back. Again just my opinion, but I don't give - - - -......... Thats all I',m going to say about this.
