capping a white tail question

Can anyone help me out? I would like to know about the single cut from antler bur to antler bur when capping a Whitetail. Where do you cut and how do you remove the skull from the cape with just the one cut? Hope it's not too dumb of a question. I can't find a tutorial on it. Thanks in advance for any help.

You will have to cut the skin loose from around the burrs and down as far as you can. Then you will have to chisel out the skull plate. Then you can shape up the skull plate on the band saw.

Just continue making a cut down the neck. Sewing is the simplest easiest taxidermy job you can do. Make it easy on yourself. Doing that one cut only opens up a whole list of other problems that will make you tear your hair out.

Normally only used on competition pieces. Not conducive to making quick time on commercial pieces IMO.
