Hi Everyone,

I am doing an apprenticeship/training program with Mike Pendzimas in Andover, MN and felt I should write a few words in support of his program.  He offers a great immersion into game heads, life size, small mammals, African, waterfowl, upland birds, fish, etc...  He has taught me so much, and I am only halfway through the 12 weeks.  His training is much longer and in-depth than most others I've researched.  I decided to study with him after looking at most of the schools in the country.  I decided on his training because it met my needs, and his student's work is amazing.  He has taught many award winning students from around the US.

I believe you get what you pay for, and he is definitely not the cheapest instructor around.  He is approved for veteran's training, and actually works with them even longer than other students.

I will put some photos on here very soon, but I am busy working in my own shop on the weekends.

Give him a call if you are looking into taxidermy as a CAREER, not just a hobby.  Well, even if you are just interested in the art as a hobby, he will give you a top notch education.  I am giving him a very positive reference, and feel free to call me any time.
