I haven't read this post for a few days. I'll third or fourth the idea to set the monies aside for Bobby. I also just replied to Glens pm that we should offer each student $1,000 per scholarship. So I agree with that.

Glen you keep doing what you're doing, and we'll back you 110% on your decisions. What can we do to keep new items coming up for auction??

Cash gifts would be greatly appreciated if you do not wish to participate in our auctions.  Our Treasurer can be contacted using the information below.

Thanks to all that have given so far. Several people will benefit from this and really appreciate the generosity of those who have donated items and those who have bid on them!!
thanks everybody.

Any donations can be sent to

Bobbi Jo Meyer
P.O Box 966
Tipton, MO 65081

I have a savings account set up specifically for the funds so there is no confusion as to how much money has actually been deposited for all those nominated for the scholarships.

As soon as I get home, I can put the totals of what I have deposited on here.

Has anyone heard from Becky as to who she wants as a teacher/mentor?

I think we are coming to a point where we will be needing another rule.  Unless there is legitimate objection, let it read like so.

Seller can declare a reserve or "no sale" on listed items.  This amount can be declared with the auctioneer, and kept confidential until the sale date has been reached.

I think that's a great idea Glen, too many things going for next to nothing.

Has anyone heard from Becky as to who she wants as a teacher/mentor?

Just saw this thread. I'll pick John Griffith, he's a little closer. I don't know about that flying thing though.

Hubby and a friend have been talking about going hunting in Kentucky (friend's parents live there). If it could be scheduled at the same time (depending on John's location and their planned hunting location), then we could split travel expenses (out of our pocket NOT the fund) and all I'd need from the fund would be for John to be paid. Of course that would also depend on if John would have time during hunting season.

Thanks Wink

Thank you ever so much for the update.

With the boar mounting donation by Bill Coates, and the pledged amount of $350 by Bill Yox, that brings the first round to $1097.

The general concensus of opinions is to raise the first $1000 of the required amount for participating individuals.   Does that sound about right with the rest of you?  Speak up now with your yay, or nay.

We are ready for the next candidate, information from the candidate will be needed at this time.

sounds good Glen
With the boar mount, I don't expect to receive payment, but I'm not sure about the helping hands hanger and the first couple auction items?

Bobbi, Russ of V.o.W took the hangers.  Has that not been paid?

Can you be more specific as to the other items?

I haven't received payment for the hangers, wasn't sure if the money was supposed to go to Bill or what?
I wish we had a complete listing of the auctions we've had.
I'm pretty sure the rest are paid, but can't say for sure.

I have taken in zero sales money.  Any discrepancies are either not paid, OR Becky has taken payment.

Bobbi's quote:
"OK..here is what I have so far
$180.00 from Boxie *
$60.00 from Nofiveo
$75.00 from coonhollow*
for a total on my end of  $315.00"

Apparently the below list is money outstanding.

Hog mounting by Bill Coates won by Bill Yox for $350.

The new Helping Hand mounting stand prototype and two dozen hangers created by Steve/Tazzymoto won by Russ of  Visions of Wildlife brought $80.

One of the first of a new line of mule deer forms sculpted by Steve Tait was won by Paul/cattrax for $80.

The soft tanned mule deer backskin by Shelby of PL Tannery brought $80 with the final bid offered by Chad/nofiveo.

Sawtooth Taxidermy, Todd
two tanned whitetail capes
Bought by DeeCee $90.00.

http://www.taxidermy.net/forum/index.php/topic,163187.0.html

Chad’s winning bid WAS $60.  Nofiveo deer flat.  I had it written down as $80, which was in error.

In an effort to keep everything visible to everyone at any time they might decide they needed the information, I was posting the information here on taxidermy.net in an effort to archive the information in the public eye.

Bobbi, this is the accumulation of data somewhere in there where you took over.  If you need any more information, let me know and I will see what I can dig up.
