Just curious to where you guys buy salt?

Correct Joey.  The finer the salt the better as far as coverage.

i have 2 salt mines close to me luckily i get food grade non iodized salt for free, its 25# 50# or 80# bags ,i cant choose, it depending on how much friends there feel like loading or bringing to me. my best source from there recently passed away he would show up with 3-4 pallets a year and deliver it with a company truck. i was giving it away! even ended up with cases of the 1 pound round containers at times.

I had to add salt to my pool this year. I bought two extra bags from the pool supply just in case they were wrong on the amount.about 10 bucks a bag.  I had one bag left and used it to salt hides. Its fine as table salt and my home depot had it over the summerat about 8 bucks a bag 50lbs. The stuff walmart has for pools is about like rock salt.  The pool salt is a few bucks higher then stock salt but being finer grain it goes further and gets in better IMO.
