need help

ok just tried to do my first bird could not get it to pose right and it had a bad smell
ok    heres how i did it i skun the bird out then i got all the fat and meat out with
a brass wire brush then i left i soak in cold dawn water for 20 minutes then took it out
dried it with a hair dryer and  borax it then put it together

dont know if i did it right or not so i through it away do to could not get it to pose
and the smell  please help if you can will take all tips that youns have to offer

Buy a bird mounting video and learn the proper way to do it, Or search the arcives for previous post on the subject

Possibly had the skin laying around to long. You need to thaw skin and mount in the same day or refreeze if you can not get to it right away. Also make sure you are getting all of the fat off the skin.
